Our bike shop is based in Dunkeld, Perthshire, home of some of the best trails in Scotland. Whether you are an Enduro rider wanting to race technical stages, or a family looking for easy routes, safe for kids and dogs, there are plenty of trails right from our doorstep.
But it isn't all ride and no shop! We have a huge range of Trek and Mondraker bikes for hire and demo. We also have the largest e-bike fleet in Central Scotland, and a selection of long distance cycle routes to test the bikes, and yourselves.
The River Tay is internationally renowned for its Atlantic Salmon fishing. Fishing on the River Tay is a mix between fly fishing and ‘harling’ from a boat.
We are fortunate in owning one of Scotland's finest Salmon waters where we can offer first class salmon fly fishing.
Fishing at Murthly Estate, you're in good hands with our hugely experienced ghillies, Donald Tritton and Tony Black, who have been here since 1985 and 1989 respectively. Our superb fly-fishing water fishes well throughout the season, 30-pound salmon are landed most years, and our catch numbers compare to many Lower Tay beats.
We have several golf tee times set up at two different courses for anyone who wants to play either on Thursday 9.5.24 at Panmure Golf Course ($199) or Friday 9.6.24 at Dumbarnie Golf Course ($371) . We have arranged transportation from Dunkeld to the golf course for all players. Tee times begin at 10:30 am.

Games of golf have been won and lost over the links at Panmure for a very long time. In 1527, it was reported in the Registrum de Panmure that Sir Robert Maule “exerciset the gowf, and oftymes past to Barry lynkes, quan the wadsie was for drink’’

There are many beautiful woodland walks in the area. From the Taybank you can walk along the river to the ancient Birnam Oak or Fiddler’s Path, west into the Craigvinean Forest or north to Atholl Woods.
The area has excellent range of well-marked routes, from gentle strolls to challenging hikes. Covering approximately 20 square miles, there are nearly 41 miles of tracks and paths taking you along rivers, crossing burns and roaming loch-side, through woodland and up hills, from where you can see some spectacular views.
Munros are Scottish mountains over 3000 feet (915 metres). Perthshire is home to 28 of the 282 Munros across Scotland. If Munros are your interest, then Dunkeld House Hotel is a perfect base for some of Perthshire’s most spectacular Munro climbing.
Said to have been named after Queen Victoria, following her visit to the area in 1866, The Queen’s View in Highland Perthshire overlooks Loch Tummel
The Queen’s View Visitor Centre lies at the eastern edge of Loch Tummel and is surrounded by part of the Tay Forest Park. As well as a stunning viewpoint overlooking the loch and beyond to the iconic Schiehallion, the area offers a range of woodland walks suitable for all abilities.
County Clays, the largest sporting clay pigeon range in Scotland consisting of 14 stands each incorporating six to nine different targets from bolting rabbits and driven grouse to fast pheasants. With over 50 targets to choose from and other activities including archery and falconry, it’s a great place to spend the afternoon.
Get the adrenalin pumping with a Land Rover Experience. In the heart of the rugged Highland countryside, you can crank up the speed and thoroughly immerse yourself in the all-terrain capability of the Land Rover.
Leading instructors are on hand to ensure you have everything you need, with a wealth of experience and knowledge to draw upon. Take on steep hill, off-road tracks, woodland tracks, slopes and expanses of private tracks and get a real sense of achievement with a day out in a Land Rover.
The full highland experience is not complete without a visit to a local whiskey distillery.
Take a tour and see how they make uisge beatha from golden malted barley, water, and yeast distilled in traditional copper pot stills and matured in oak casks. A little taste of the Scottish Highlands.
Scotland’s largest country department store The House of Bruar is less than 30 minutes drive north on the A9. It’s a good option for a rainy day with a large food hall and cafe, galleries, country clothing and gifts set in rooms with big open fires. It’s also situated right next to the Falls of Bruar – an attractive woodland walk with waterfalls and old stone bridges.

Travel through time at Blair Castle, with its rich history stretching back to Mary Queen of Scots through to the Civil War, the Jacobite cause to the disaster of Culloden. The Castle dates back to 1269 and has been the location of many political struggles over the centuries. Today, it’s varied past is reflected all around each of the 30 rooms on display.
